Beans, apples and more snow

Dear Families,

We planted some beans last week. There are five seeds that already sprouted. There are 22 beans we planted, for 22 kids, and we planted them in five pots. They're in a grow lab, which turns on a light for extra hours of the day so the beans get extra light even after it gets dark out.

Today we cut apples and ate them with a special dipping sauce that we made during Cookshop. The dipping sauce was made of plain yogurt, honey and cinnamon. The apples were crunchy, crispy, sweet and sour and the dipping sauce was smooth and sweet!

At Town Meeting we did a great job. We focused on everybody, and all the school came to watch us.  We taught the school the song "Mole in the Ground" and sang "Taxi."

Yesterday was a snow day. Yahoo!

  1. Hey Clara's 1st Graders!

I was lucky enough to catch your performance at Town Meeting last week and you all did a great job. I loved the song "Mole in the ground" and I especially loved it when you also sang "Taxi". I can't wait until you host Town Meeting again.

    Best,
    Miriam (Diego's mom)
